I’m just your average young mom trying to figure out how to keep my kids alive and healthy  🙂

Every day is sweet chaos and I couldn’t do it without my amazing husband. He is one of a kind, and my biggest supporter.

My oldest daughter is our little hurricane and the most fun we could have ever imagined.

Our younger daughter is my little lamb. She has the sweetest calmness about her.

      Lori! I am so honored!! Really, you have made my day. My little girl got her shots yesterday and cried through the whole night (2:30-7:30am! I can’t handle seeing her like that 😦 ). Needless to say, this is amazing encouragement. So thank you 🙂

        We make a super good, sludgy coffee that is easy to sip throughout the day. I have the grinder set on fine, grind enough beans for 18 cups of coffee, and use either French roast or Italian roast coffee beans. I put the finely ground coffee into a gold filter, and stir the grounds as I pour 12 cups of 195ºF water on the grounds through the filter (water boils at 195 at 5000 feet about sea level). The resulting coffee is super strong, thick and smooth, with a pure coffee flavor because the gold filter is neutral (paper filters add a bitter flavor to coffee).
